That Mumbai Cutting has 11 ace directors giving their take on Mumbai is a known fact. But the truth also is that the ten directors have also turned writers with this venture.
Incidentally, director Sudhir Mishra was the first to submit his script, Anurag Kashyap, Ruchi Narain, Kundan Shah, Revathy, Shashanka Ghosh, Rituparno Ghosh, Rahul Dholakia, Jahnu Barua, Manish Jha and Ayush Raina form the rest of the ten directors.
With names like Soha Ali Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak, Deepak Dobriyal (Omkaras Rajoh Tiwari), Tejaswini Kohlapure, Ranvijay, Sushant Singh, Tara Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Neetu Chandra, Jimmy Shergill, Samreen Zaidi and Palash Sen among others.
